Widespread support for the Don’t Put Up With It campaign is sending a powerful message that crime will not be tolerated in Scotland’s shops.
The Scottish Grocers’ Federation, the organisation spearheading the campaign with backing from the Scottish Government, is grateful to all of the retailers, politicians and members of the public who have got behind the drive.
There has been a strong response as retailers continue to be encouraged to report every crime they see in their stores, while shoppers are urged to #SayThanks for all that staff in their local stores do for their communities.
The message that there is no place for trouble in any form – whether threats, abuse, thefts or violence – in our shops is being heard loud and clear.
